Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on our Australian and New Zealand orders when you spend over $300.00. Once you have placed your order, please allow 2-3 business days for your garments to be prepared and dispatched.
Due to limited stock, please choose sizes carefully. We encourage you to compare measurements of your current wardrobe using the size charts on the product page.

Regular Post: 2-5 business days ($10.00 AUD, Free when you spend $300.00 AUD)
Express Post: 1-2 business days ($15.00 AUD, or $10.00 AUD when you spend $300.00 AUD)
NEW ZEALAND
Regular Post: 5-10 business days ($15.00 NZD, Free when you spend $300.00 NZD)
Express Post: 3-5 business days ($25.00 NZD, or $20.00 NZD when you spend $300.00 NZD)
DHL Express Shipping: 2-3 business days ($40.00 NZD)

To ensure your order will be delivered by 24th December, please place your order by the following dates:

These deadlines are based off cutoff dates provided by our delivery partners, AusPost and DHL. For any orders made after these dates, we are unable to guarantee delivery by Christmas.
Extended Exchange Period
In addition to our 14-day returns policy (see below), for any orders made between 21st November to 24th December 2024, we will continue to accept returns for full-priced items and exchanges for items bought on sale until 7th January 2025.
Exchanges/Returns
Although we are confident you'll be happy with your garments, we understand not everything in life goes to plan. We offer free returns and exchanges for 14 days from receipt of your order for any full-priced items (AU/NZ orders only. For other countries, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs).
For items sold on sale, we offer exchanges only for 14 days. We do ask that in this instance the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost, however we will cover the shipping cost of the new exchanged item.

When making a purchase with us, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set below:
Items bought on sale or discount (more than 15% off) are only eligible for store credit. Gift Cards are non-refundable.
AFTERPAY/KLARNA: Orders made with Afterpay or Klarna are not eligible for a refund or store credit, however can be returned for a free exchange for full-priced items. For exchanges for items bought on sale, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, while we will cover the shipping cost of the new exchanged item.
To be eligible for an exchange/return, the garment(s) must be in original condition, unworn and unused, with tags still attached.
To initiate an exchange/return, email store@josephandjames.com.au with the reason for the return, or exchange request, and include the order number in the subject line. Please allow 1-2 business days for us to process your request. Note, you must hand in your package to the courier within the 14 days since initially receiving your order to be eligible for a refund/exchange.
When returning, we encourage you to reuse the same packaging in which the order was delivered to you.
Depending on your location, please allow 5-10 business days from when you give your package to the courier for your return to be received and inspected. Once received and we are satisfied with the garment's condition, we will process your refund within 1-5 business days, depending on your bank.
The above Returns Policy is in addition to and does not affect the statutory rights you have under the Australian & New Zealand Consumer Laws.
Environmentally-Friendly Packaging
To play our part in minimising our environmental impact on the planet, we deliver your garments in boxes made from 69% recycled materials. Our cards are printed on 100% recycled paper using an eco-friendly printing process, and our FSC-certified tissue paper, and 100% recycled and biodegradable packaging tape, are both printed using soy-based inks.
